Teaching where the budget doesn't stretch to a tutor.
Schools, charities and community organisations across Southern Ontario need tutoring they can't pay full rate for. We scope that work, agree a rate with the organisation, and post it here for our tutors to take on.
This is new. We're running one pilot partnership right now and building from there. If the board looks short, that's why — it isn't a backlog we're hiding.
How a placement works
Scoped first, then posted.
The organisation tells us what they need
Which students, which subjects, how often, and what they can realistically pay. We'd rather hear a small number than an ambitious one.
We scope it and set the rate
We work out what the placement actually involves and agree a rate with the organisation. That number is published on the listing before anyone commits to it.
A tutor takes it on
You tell us you're interested, we talk it through, and you meet the organisation. Same screening as any other placement. Community placements are in person, so the tutor holds a current vulnerable sector check before they start.

Every listing shows what it pays before you click into it. Nothing here is assigned — you choose what you take.

If the board is empty, the work still isn't.
Placements come from both directions — a tutor telling us what they'd take on, or an organisation telling us what they need. Either one is how a listing gets made.

If you run a program that needs tutoring and can't pay a commercial rate, tell us what you're working with. We'll be straight with you about whether we can cover it, and we won't quote you a number before we understand the work.
